CIFIT has its fifteenth anniversary this year which also marks the tenth year since China has entered WTO and the starting year of the “Twelfth Five-year Plan”. Many countries in the world have paid much attention to and attended the CIFIT this year. It lasted for five days, which was one day more than usual and there were thirty-seven member units, 683 government departments, commercial institutes and companies represented themselves and their products. More than fifty thousands of domestic business people took part in the relevant activities.
With well-known companies and celebrities from home and abroad, CIFIT bloomed. There was one very different scene in the spot: the cartoon images from MOMOKING – MOMOKING and MOMOQUEEN. These two adorable cosplay dolls enlivened the CIFIT.
September 9 was the fourth birthday of MOMOKING and the third day of CIFIT. MOMOKING had stayed there for three days. In the first day of CIFIT, it witnessed the glorious opening ceremony, saw merchants draw together like clouds and Wu Bangguo, member of CPC Central committees and chairman of the National People’s Congress Standing Committee, launch the giant key. In the second day, MOMOKING press conference & signing ceremony of image licensing between MOMOKING and Cola Cao has been held at Hall 1C, where many leaders from authorities concerned, broadcasting and TV stations and MOMOKING’s cooperators attended. MOMOKING and MOMOQUEEN were standing at the entrance to welcome the guests, who took pictures with them. Today is the third, MOMOKING, who stood outside the lively broadcasting room of SINA, drew many visitors to took pictures.
If the progressing CIFIT uplifts the image of Xiamen, then the Created-in-China cartoon would be the most brilliant scene. As the first cartoon company in Fujian that exported to foreign countries, MOMOKING adhere to the path of “Created in China”. Based on the ancient mythology – The Journey to the West, a series of classic images have been created through original animations, comics, novels and other works. Since its premiere on CCTV in May, the animation series Adventures of MOMOKING has been broadcast on provincial TVs, municipal TVs, satellite TVs and professional cartoon channels. So far, it has been broadcast in nineteen Chinese provinces and over twenty countries. It has won the Outstanding Award for Domestic Animations 2010 that awarded by SARFT and Monkey King Award for Top Ten Cartoon Theme Songs and Top Ten Cartoon Images at Hangzhou International Cartoon & Animation Festival 2011.
Before producing MOMOKING animations, a thorough market research was carried out and found most markets liked the image. MOMOKING and MOMOQUEEN have been warm welcome by global visitors at CIFIT.
